Water Weight Gain

I am on day five of transforming my life when it comes to becoming physically fit and eating healthy.  This morning I got on the scale, can you say disappointment.  I gained weight!  How can this be?  Water weight gain, I thought so I shook it off and had a great day!  Well, I started researching today to find out my suspicions were quite typical and normal.  

My research proved to be very rewarding, as I discovered that by continuing to drink water, I would not only lose the water weight but the weight that was initially the target.  All of the articles that I read, suggested that at least a gallon of water should be the target for most adults.  The more water you drink it flushes out the water being retained in your body.  Your brain recognizes that your body isn't dehydrated and metabolically stable; so it will flush that retained water right on out of your body.   Another great benefit of drinking a gallon or more is having those toxins flushed right out of your body.

Apparently, drinking chilled water helps your body burn more calories as it attempts to warm the water.   Red Cayenne pepper in your water helps to stimulate waste elimination in the colon.  You can add spices, lime or lemon juice.  I am two thumbs up on the lime juice, love it!  Water suppresses your appetite so drink a glass before each meal.

I am Ready for a Beach Body Video Diary

Day 1 - Ready for a Beach Body

Welcome to my adventure to lose 40 before I turn 40 years old!  Today is November 9, 2010 and I will review my progress with losing weight with my journey using Hip Hop Abs and Shakeology.   I got a trial of Shakeology with my Hip Hop Abs.  I remember my cousin two months ago told me about it.   I immediately told her "I don't like meal replacement shakes".   So, I said let me read up on this stuff and figure out what she is talking about.  I was impressed by the literature and the video.   It was wonderful!  The amount of research put into Shakeology was astounding to me.  On top of the amount of all natural ingredients blew me away.  So, yesterday I tried Shakeology for the first time still as a skeptic.   I was skeptical because I don't like to have sweet things before I eat actual food.  So, in the literature I remembered reading that you could add coffee so I did.  I am a huge coffee drinker so I thought by adding it would increase the chances I would actually drink it.  Well to my surprise it actually tasted good.   It didn't stop there Shakeology gave me so much energy and it actually did curb my appetite.  This was also in the literature but I didn't think it would work the first day.   So, by the end of week one the literature states that it will do the following:
·     Improve digestion and regularity
·     Reduce cravings
·     Increase your energy and stamina
That is the other thing I experienced on yesterday increased stamina and regularity.   So, far so good.   I chose the Hip Hop Abs fitness program as I love to dance, so I thought it would be fun.   I worked out to Fat Burning Cardio and found it to be exactly what I expected.   Shan t isn't bad on the eyes!  Each of the cast members’ personalities comes out in the video.  So, I laughed many times that it did.  It was fun to watch and even more enjoyable to work out with them.   Watch my video diary and look for it on Youtube.com under Ready4BeachBody....This is my username on everything because I am Ready for a Beach Body!!!  Check me out on Twitter and Facebook!  Keep me in your thoughts and prayers too!
